Our Story
Next Stop Tours wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built on a decade of going further.
Our founder spent ten years working across the full spectrum of travel, coordinating large-scale international events, delivering structured school-based programmes, leading expeditions through the Himalayas, and organising charity challenges that took people well beyond their limits. Every discipline, every environment, every type of traveller. But somewhere between the mountain passes and the marathon finish lines, a quieter realisation was forming.
Britain itself is extraordinary. And almost nobody was showing it off properly.
A lifelong passion for local history and a deep belief in what this island has to offer visitors made the gap impossible to ignore. Hundreds of thousands of international students arriving in the UK every year — curious, excited, full of ambition, and quietly leaving without ever really seeing it. Universities were delivering world-class degrees. The cities, the landscapes, the history, the culture — all of it was sitting just beyond the campus gates, largely untouched.
Nobody was delivering Britain. So we built something that would.
Next Stop Tours was founded to close that gap, combining genuine operational expertise with something more personal: a belief that connection to place changes people. That a student who walks the walls of a Roman city, punts along the Cam, or stands inside a medieval castle doesn't just have a great day out. They feel like they belong here. And belonging changes everything, for the student, and for the institutions invested in keeping them.
We're growing fast, and the mission is only getting clearer.
The demand is real, the momentum is building, and we're just getting started. Next Stop exists to make sure every international student who comes to Britain actually gets to experience it properly, memorably, together.
